IBRI: The Municipal Council of Al Dhahirah Governorate reviewed the follow-up on the implementation of previous recommendations and discussed a number of service-related and regulatory topics. These included hosting specialists from the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) to examine the status of communication networks across the governorate's wilayats, as well as reviewing telecommunications and postal services completed in 2025 and those planned for implementation in 2026.
This took place during the fourth regular session of 2026, chaired by Tahir bin Mabkhout al Junaibi, Governor of Al Dhahirah and Chairman of the Municipal Council.
During the session, the council discussed the causes of air pollution in certain residential schemes near industrial facilities in the Wilayat of Ibri, and the necessary measures to be taken in coordination with the relevant authorities. - ONA
